Revisions

With some careful planing it is possible to have revisions using EditMarksViewer.

How is it done?

1, Make sure track changes is on.

2, Type some text.

3, Use the show button on the EditMarksViewer palette.

4, Change the name of the conditional text “EditMarks” to “EditMarks-1”.

5, Type some more text.

6, Use the show button on the EditMarksViewer palette.

7, Change the name of the conditional text “EditMarks” to “EditMarks-X”. Where X is the next revision level.

Repeat 4, 5, 6 and 7. You have revisions.

We think the best results are had by having the Preserve EditMarks / Track Changes check box checked.

Use the Indicators menu on the Conditional Text palette to show and hide the revisions. You can also make the revisions print from this menu.
