EditMarks Navigator

EditMarks Navigator, a free InDesign script that helps you navigate your InDesign EditMarks / Track Changes.

Double click the list to reveal the EditMark in the document. When the Jump to check box is checked single clicks on the list will reveal the EditMark in the document.

Hold the Alt key down while clicking the list will expand the EditMark into a new scrollable box.

If the Jump to check box is unchecked you can use the up down arrows to see the content of the EditMarks. Alt click first.

Use the update button to update the list.

Use the popup menu to sort the list by user, page number and date of the EditMark / Track Change.

Use the Search button with the search field to find EditMarks in the list.

The R button will create a report that can be loaded into Excel.

You can get the FREE script here The latest version is 1.0.5.

To install, copy the script to your Scripts Panel folder in the scripts folder in your InDesign application folder.

The above is showing two documents, doc 1 had the word 'change' deleted and we inserted 'Change'. Document 2 had the letter 'n' deleted and 'N' inserted.
