Index HyperLinker DEMO

Index HyperLinker is part of our Index Utilities. This demo script will hyperlink 20 index entires.

Create your InDesign index in the usual way.

Set the InDesign preferences for your index.

The script uses the "Following Topic", "Between Page Numbers" and "Before Cross-reference" settings to parse the index. We currently use a dash for page ranges, this will be fixed soon.

Generate the index and copy the index into a temporary text frame. Select the text in the temporary text frame and launch the script.

To install, copy the script to your Scripts Panel folder in the scripts folder in your InDesign application folder.
